Theodor Ahlbeck Glader (b.2003) is a Swedish pianist currently studying at the Robert Schumann Hochschule in Düsseldorf in the class of professor Paolo Giacometti. Theodor began his piano studies at the age of six for Elena Power and later on for professor Stefan Bojsten, Henrik Måwe and Martin Sturfält.
Theodor is a prize winner both as a soloist and a chamber musician in competitions such as the Stockholm International Music Competition, the Savshinsky International Music Competition, the WPTA Singapore International Piano Competition and the Encore International Music Competition. He is one of the “SEB Young Artists” (2021 to 2023). Since 2020 he has also been part of the Young Talents program at the music festival Valdres Sommersymfoni in Norway.
Theodor has received scholarships, among others from the Royal Swedish Academy of Music, Dr. Felix Neubergh Foundation and the City of Stockholm. He has participated as a soloist and chamber musician at venues such as the Stockholm Concert Hall, the Berwald Hall, the Västerås Concert Hall and the Stockholm City Hall. Theodor has also participated at masterclasses and courses such as the Järna Festical Academy, the Young Musicians Academy, EPTA Denmark Piano week, Pianovisions and the Jiri Hlinka Piano Academy.
